Shipping Times & Delivery Estimates
Nomad Knot ships handmade Afghan rugs from Afghanistan to customers worldwide. Because each rug is artisan-made and export shipping takes time, please review the timelines below before ordering.
Processing Time
Most rugs ship within 1–3business days after your order is confirmed.
Some pieces may require additional handling (final inspection, packaging, or artisan coordination) and may take up to 10 business days before dispatch.
Estimated Delivery
Shipping from Afghanistan can take longer than typical international shipping.
- Standard International: 15–30 business days after dispatch
- Remote areas / customs delays: up to 45 business days after dispatch
- During peak seasons or regional delays, delivery may take longer
Tracking
Tracking is provided when available. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an update with tracking details or shipment confirmation.
Customs & Import Fees
International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees depending on your country.
These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
Correct Address
Please ensure your shipping address and contact information are accurate.
We are not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Damaged / Missing Packages
If your rug arrives damaged, or if your package appears lost, contact us within 7 days of delivery (or the last tracking update).
Include your order number and photos (if damaged) so we can assist quickly.
